Introduction
My name is Javier and I am setting up this page in part for my sister. My sister is a professional flamenco dancer (a quite good one if I say so myself). She just came back from spending years in Spain, where she wholeheartedly studied her craft. She has returned home to Los Angeles to make a living out of her passion. One of my passions is training people. In an effort to make sure my big sister is at the top of her game, I offered to train her. Understanding how fitness can make for a better dancer, she agreed to let me have the honor of training her. It’s been a short time since we’ve started our morning training sessions and my sister is already noticeably stronger, more well conditioned, and faster and lighter on her feet. In an effort to keep improving on these gains while my sister gets busier and busier, I’ve set up this blog to keep providing workouts that can be done at home with minimal equipment but provide maximal improvement.
I am a former tennis player, longtime martial artist, strength and conditioning enthusiast and an amateur powerlifter. I am extremely interested in human movement and performance.
